Services for Mrs. Bessie Cox Sargent of 1481 Linden, who died at 12:45 a.m. yesterday at Oakville Memorial Hospital after an illness of several months, will be at 3:30 p.m. today at Memphis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park. Mrs. Sargent, who was 77, was the widow of Aubrey Sargent, who died five years ago. Born near Paducah, Ky., she moved to Memphis in 1929. She was a member of Seventh Street Baptist Church. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Earl J. Corbett of the Linden address; two sisters, Mrs. Howard Mackey of San Antonio, Texas, and Mrs. Lucy McKay of St. Louis; a brother, Vernie Cox, also of St. Louis, and one grandchild.
