Justin Joseph Lawrence, 26, of Reno, Nevada, died Saturday, March 29, 2003 at his residence in Reno. He was born November 14, 1976 in Carson City, Nevada and attended Fallon schools, graduating from Churchill County High School in 1994.
Justin was employed by Safeway Stores until he entered college in Reno. He became interested in computer sciences and moved to the Bay Area where he attended DeVry Technical School.
He returned to Reno and entered the University of Nevada to study music and graphic arts. While attending the University, he worked in the Art Department because he had a tremendous love of music and wanted to combine this love with computer graphics. He was a natural musician who loved playing the guitar and writing songs.
Justin was highly motivated to excel in his studies and worked extremely hard to develop his amazing talents. He was very humble about his exceptional abilities.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dale Lawrence.
Justin was greatly loved by his family and friends. Survivors include his parents, Ron and Diana Lawrence of Fallon; grandparents, Joseph and Anna Belle Giomi of Smith Valley; grandmother, Dorothy Lawrence of Fallon; aunt, JoAnne Giomi and fiance, Steve McKnight of Reno; aunts and uncles, Loretta and Jim Stafford of Lovelock; Katherine and Ray Nivens; Marcia and Don Ernst; Rod Dahl, all of Fallon; Brenda Olsen of Genoa; and Samantha Moreland, the love of his life.
