ERNEST L. LYNCH, 88, of Memphis, died Friday, August 10, 2007, at Saint Francis Hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Stephen's United Methodist Church with entombment to follow in Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be held from 2-3:30 p.m. this afternoon at the funeral home. Ernest was born December 19, 1918 in Montezuma, TN. He was a revenue officer for the Internal Revenue Service for 34 years and a charter member of St. Stephen's United Methodist Church. He leaves his wife of 67 years, Gladys; his son, Charles A. Lynch, of Paris, TX; his daughter, Patsy L. Cayce, of Memphis; one brother, Robert Lynch , of Finger, TN; one sister, Pauline Naylor, of Henderson, TN; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
