Funeral rites for Charles Cox, Montevallo area man who died Dec. 27, were held Friday afternoon at the Glade Springs Church under the direction of the Beeny Funeral Home of Sheldon. The Rev. Ed Elliott officiated, assisted by the Rev. C. E. Ingram.

Miss Marcine Dudd and Miss Janice Coald Sang “Going Down the Valley,” “Precious Memories” and “Meet Me There,” accompanied by Ardis Dudd, Pianist.

Paullbearers were Royston Boultinghuse, Joe Leedy, Clinton Purtle, Ronald Purtle, John Marshall and Gaylord Wallace. Burial was in the Brasher Cemetery.
