Little is known of ESTHER at this time. She had three sisters: ALICE, ASHLEY, JENNIE, and one half-sister, MYRTLE VIDE STUART. All were raised in the Vancouver, Clark County area of WA state.
ESTHER married CHRISTIAN ALVIN JOHNSON on 7 May 1910. He was born in Iowa of Danish immigrant parents. They lived in Portland, OR next door to her sister and brother-in-law, ASHLEY and RAY VIVIAN on NE Garfield Ave. CHRIS worked as a bank officer at that time.
Their known children:
1) Donald Johnson (1916-1998).
2) Robert Julius Johnson (1923-2013).
Following ESTHER'S early death, her sister ASHLEY and brother-in-law RAY VIVIAN raised the boys in their home. Their father CHRISTIAN JOHNSON also lived there.
