Minnie "Louise" a/k/a Mama, Little Mama, Mom, Antie, Antie Gramma, and Domino Queen, mother to all who needed a mother. Born Valentine's Day 1928, left this earth May 3, 2005 to join her sons, baby Jackson and Jamey, 3 husbands, Durley, Roger and Sammy; sister, Mae Kittrell; and great granddaughter Riley Lynn in Heaven. Mama was a brave, strong, truthful person who said what she thought, not necessarily what you wanted to hear. Mama raised 7 children, gave birth to 3, took on the rest, but treated all as if they were her own. Many people called her "Mama." Mama always looked for the best in everyone. She worked 3 jobs most of her life to support her children. Louise owned and operated the Frog Pond Tavern in Midwest City for 21+ years. You could always count on her for a cold beverage, a whipping in dominoes or free advice. Mama loved her children, family, her husbands, her animals, dominoes, nature and God. Mama touched so many lives. Louise leaves behind 3 sisters, Reba Jones of Electra, Texas: Jean Clark of Newalla; Dean Dodd of Newalla; and 1 brother, James Allred of Oklahoma City; six children, Karla Frazier and husband Jim of Edmond; Karl Kearns and wife Debra of Oklahoma City; Roger Kearns and wife Teresa of Newalla; Marguerite Gordon of Bridge Creek, Durla Hall and husband Darrell of Midwest City; Durlene Cleary and husband David of Edmond, her much loved pets Oscar and Petsy; 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. To know Mama was to love her. We will miss this very special lady. Special thanks to Lucy Ingram- God bless you. Thanks to the special people at Preferred Hospice, nurses Tommie and Yolanda; aides Lauren and Kolisha; and nurse Tammy from Dr. Hamilton's office for being so kind and tender. Special thanks to sister Jean and Ann for your care giving. In memory of Mom, contributions may be made to Free to Live Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 130072, Edmond, OK 73013, or to The Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation/Alzheimer's research, 825 N.E. 13th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73104. Please join us for a celebration of her life at Barnes & Johnson Funeral Home, 1820 S. Douglas Blvd. in Midwest City at 9:00 AM, Friday, May 6, 2005 and a celebration of life party after at mom's house. Domino scores mama 1905- Karla 703.
