Lila Miller of Baraboo, passed away on Jan. 29, 2007, at her home at the age of 82. Lila, the daughter of William and Helena (Kumpke) Dunse, was born on July 27, 1924, in North Freedom. She worked for many years at Klein's. Lila enjoyed fishing, playing cards and bingo, and working puzzles, but especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Baraboo. She is survived by seven children, Elaine (John) Rydzinski of Mosinee, Marilyn (Keith) Hill of Reedsburg, Bob (Judy) Miller of Vallejo, Calif., Barbara (Jeff) Maxon of Muscoda, Joan Achterberg of Oxford, Mark (Nancy) Miller of North Freedom, and Karen (Charlie) Dvorak of Baraboo; 25 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; four brothers, Melvin Dunse, her twin Lyle Dunse, William Dunse and Lloyd Dunse; two sisters, Marion Demaske and Florene Abraham; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Lila was preceded in death by her parents; three great-grandchildren; two brothers; and a sister. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Feb. 2, 2007, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Baraboo with Pastors Deb and Steve Ohrtman officiating. Interment will follow in the Walnut Hill Cemetery. Friends may call on Feb. 1, 2007, from 6-8 p.m. at the Redlin Funeral Home, 401 Madison Ave., Baraboo; and at the church on Friday, from noon until the time of services.
