Lyle Dunse, of LaValle, Wisconsin, passed away at the venerable age of 90 years 7 months and 13 days on Thursday, March 12, 2015, at The Sauk County Health Care Center in Reedsburg, Wisconsin. Lyle, The son of William and Helena (Kumke) Dunse, was born July 27, 1924, in North Freedom, Wisconsin.

In August of 1947, he married Myrtle Doering; they later divorced.

He married Betty (Diece) Gray on April 23, 1982.

Lyle farmed most of his life in the LaValle area. After selling the farm, he worked at LaValle Mill, Wisconsin Dog Track, Reedsburg Cenex, and read meters for Vernon Electric.

He served as chairman for the LaValle Township for 15 years, Sauk County Supervisor for 23 years and on the Highway and Zoning committees, and on the Reedsburg School District Board.

Lyle had a great sense of humor, and was always ready for a game of cards. He enjoyed gardening, watching the Brewers, and mostly spending time with family and friends.
