a.m. May 17,1990, in the facility.
Born in Carroll County Oct. 10,
1894, he was the son of William J.
and Lenna Kingery Bowerman.
On Sept. 7, 1913, he was married
to Carrie Flora, who died Dec. 24,
1979.
He was retired from Marburger
Supply Co., and operated a saw
filing business for 20 years.
Bowerman was a member of Old
German Baptist Church in Cass
County.
Surviving are two sons, Paul
Bowerman of Silver Lake, and
Dale Bowerman of Piqua, Ohio;
three daughters, Joan Lowe of
Kokomo, and Doris Avery and Bessie
Boone, both of rural Peru; two
sisters, Martha Peterson of Flora
and Millie Presho of Muncie; 18
grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren;
and 74 great-great-grandchildren.
A daughter preceded him in death.
Services were held Sunday at the
Old Baptist Church. Burial was in
Greenlawn Cemetery at Mexico.
