There was a grand demonstration this evening. A torchlight procession one mile in length paraded the streets.
The horse of an aid ran away during the progress of the procession, knocking down and riding over five ladies, injuring three of them dangerously. Isaac Yager was knocked down and tramped on. He had his shoulder-blade broken and was dangerously injured internally. The rider was thrown and injured.

Sister Carrie Waite made a cheerful report of a visit to the County Hospital, where she distributed sweet violets among the sick, and received the thanks of the happy recipients, who earnestly solicited the frequent presence of kind friends. Mother Benson was reported improving, while her brother, Isaac Yager was quite feeble, at his home on upper E street.
Mrs. Yager, the widow of the late Hardin Yager, was convalescent, so as to be able to get about her home.

Isaac Hamilton Yager, Aged Eighty-two, Passed Away
The death of Isaac Hamilton Yager occurred at the residence of his sister, Mrs. Hettie Benson, 937 E street early this morning, at the advanced age of eighty-two years.
Barton & Catick will have charge of the funeral. The arrangements will be under the direction of the two societies of which he is a member, and will be held from the residence of Mrs. Benson, 937 E street Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m.
Mrs. Mary Anderson, a sister of the late pioneer, is expected to be here for the funeral.
The deceased was a native of Kentucky, but has been a resident of San Bernardino for the past 54 years. He is a member of the Odd Fellows and the Pioneer Society.

After a gradual decline extending over some months, largely due to advanced age, the death of Isaac H. Yager occurred Sunday night just before midnight at the home of his sister, Mrs. Hettie Benson, where he had made his home for a great many years. His age was 82 years, and he had been a resident of San Bernardino for the past 54 years, having emigrated to the Golden State with other members of the same family soon after the gold excitement broke out.
Mr. Yager never married. He was well-known among the pioneers of the valley and in the years of prime was very active in the community. He was an honored member of the Pioneer Society, and also of San Bernardino Lodge No. 146, I. O. O. F. The body is being held by Barton & Catick.
The deceased leaves two sisters, Mrs. Nettie Benson of this city, and Mrs. Mary Anderson of Los Angeles.
Funeral services will be held from the residence, 937 E street, Wednesday, at 2 o'clock, under the auspices of San Bernardino Lodge No. 146, of which he was a member. The members of the Pioneer Society will turn out.

FUNERAL SERVICES
Isaac Yager
There was a large gathering of old friends and fraters yesterday afternoon for the funeral service for the late Isaac Yager, which was held from the home of his sister, Mrs. Hettie Benson, in E street, where he had resided for a great many years.
At the home, the Pioneer service was read by Judge C. L. Thomas, on behalf of the San Bernardino Society of California Pioneers, of which Mr. Yager had long been an enthusiastic member. The Pioneers were present in numbers, and three of the pallbearers were from that organization, J. T. Roberds, De La M. Woodward and Robert Poppett.
A large delegation from San Bernardino Lodge No. 146, I. O. O. F. attended, he having also been an Odd Fellow. At the cemetery the burial service of the order was read.

Not listed on cemetery records as Hamilton but the Mormon records list his middle name.
