"Mrs. Della Crumly, died Thursday at the Happy Siesta Nursing Home in Sheldon where she had been a patient about two months. Born May 22 1869 in Indiana, she was the daughter of Reuben and Pamela Hershberger Drollinger. She was married October 6 1892 to Waltz Crumley of the Mellott Community.
They resided on a farm near Mellott until he preceded her in death and she moved into Mellott. She was a member of the Congregational Christian Church.
Mrs. Crumley had been in failing health and had gone to Sheldon about a year ago to reside with a daughter.
Survivors include the daughter Mrs. Chester Payton of Sheldon; a son Clinton of Lafayette; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday at the Crumley Funeral Home with burial in the Campbell's Chapel Cemetery." - Veedersburg News, Veedersburg, Indiana, November 13, 1959
