Ida Lee Long was the daughter of Lemuel Dugan Long and Julia Ann 'Minor.'

She was the granddaughter of Maples Long and Mahala 'Atchley' Long. Also Mr. and Mrs. Minor.

Ida attended school in Fairland, Ottawa County, Oklahoma. She was enrolled as a Cherokee and recieved an allotment of land located near Bartlesville, Indian Territory, Oklahoma. At one time, Ida worked as a switchboard operator for the Pioneer Telephone Company in Tulsa.

Ida Lee Long married Charles Flint on March 6, 1909. Charley was 23 and Ida was 22 years old. They were married by Rev. H. S. Weston at his home in Fairland, Ottawa County, Oklahoma

They were the parents of 5 children: Juan Eugene Vivian Lee Vera LaVerne Charles Flint Jr. Lorenzo Dugan

Ida was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church.
