Flossie was the daughter of Lemuel
Dugin Long and his wife, Amanda
'Murphy.'

She was the granddaughter of Maples
Long and Mahala 'Atchley.'

Flossie was first married to Stevie
Moore. The couple were together in
the 1920 census. They were living next
door to her parents, Lemuel and Amanda
in Afton, Ottawa County, Oklahoma.
Stevie was part Cherokee and was enrolled
during the Final Dawes Rolls.

Flossie was the mother of two known
children by her first husband. A daughter
named Lyhula and one daughter named Frances.
In the 1930 census, she and her two daughters
were living with her mother, Amanda. Flossie
and Stevie's marriage had ended in a divorce.

Sometime in 1930, she married a man named
Frank Wadleigh and they moved to California.
Records show that Flossie, husband Frank,
Alice and Sally are buried in San Mateo,
California. It's not known if Alice and
Sally are their two daughters or if he
had two when they married?
