Obituary - JOHN E. RIKER, 88, of 223 Long Island Avenue, Holtsville, died last Thursday at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital. Born in Brooklyn, he had lived in Holtsville more than 80 years and was a retired carpenter. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Marguerite Baldwin of Holtsville, Mrs. Catherine Davis of Lake Ronkonkoma and Mrs. Mabel Sauer of Florida; a son, John E., Jr., of Red Hook, N.Y.; 13 grandchildren and 26 greatgrandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Ruland Funeral Home, the Rev. John E. Southard, pastor of The First Baptist Church of Patchogue, officiating. Interment was in Waverly Cemetery, Holtsville.
