EAST GARY -- Leon "Bud" Rosenbaum, 67, a well-known barber in the area for three decades, died Friday at Walter Hospital, Michigan City. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Wanatah and the East Gary Eagles, and a former member of the East Gary Fire Department.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Dickinson, Hessville; a son, Robert, Hobart; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two sisters, Marie Shireman, Union Mills, and Sylvia Guernsey, La Crosse, and a brother, Irvin, of Wanatah.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Brady Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ariel Brady officiating. Burial will be at St. John's cemetery, Wanatah. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7-9 o'clock this evening and from 2-9 p.m. Sunday.
