IRWINTON - Bernice C. Mitchell, 83, of Irwinton died Monday in a Macon hospital.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today in Irwinton Baptist Church. The Rev. Bill Garner will officiate. Burial will be in Irwinton Masonic Cemetery.
Mrs. Mitchell was a native of Missouri and had made her home in Irwinton for many years. She was a homemaker and a member of Irwinton Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, John R. Mitchell, Jr. of Irwinton and David J. Mitchell of Stone Mountain; a sister, Arlene Tuggle of Mission, Texas; a brother, Joe Campbell of Ridgeway, Missouri; four grandchildren and three great-grandsons.
