William Earl Short and Paul Atchison officiating. Burial will follow at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Cemetery in Maplesville. Born on July 1, 1922 to Marion Chandler and Mamie Chandler, she died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2003 at Vaughn Region Medical Center/ Parkway in Selma. Survivors include her sons Larry Joe (Faye) Anderson of Plantersville, and Billy (Cindy) Burnett of Selma, Brothers Burt Chandler of Maplesville and Barney Chandler of Maplesville; sisters Nettie B. Broadhead of Clanton and Eula Hayes of Clanton; 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Her husband Bill Burnett, sons William Earl Anderson and Douglas McArthur Anderson, daughter Virginia Payne, and sisters Lucille Weathers and Maggie Anderson preceded her in death.
