Geraldine Blakey Cole, 91, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2007.
Funeral: 3 p.m. Monday in Greenwood Garden Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Greenwood Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cole was a member of Westridge Baptist Church. She was a River Oaks pawnbroker for over 30 years, a life member of VFW Post 708, an auxiliary and MOCA member, a member of American Legion 626 and Moose Lodge 287.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, T.C. Wages; second husband, Clemmie Cole; parents, Ray and Eva Blakey; brothers, Billy Pat Blakey and James Blakey; and sisters, Georgia Ray and Imogene Hunter.
Survivors: Children, Rodney A. Cole, Terry C. Wages and wife, Kathy, Clemmie W. Cole Jr. and wife, Paula, and Martha R. King and husband, John; grandchildren, Rodney A. Cole II, Jackie D. Cole, Clemmie Weldon Cole III, Tara Moore, Timothy King, Tracy Jordan, Terry Wages and Meagan Wages; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Joyce Bishop, Maurine Williams and Jeannine Dyer; and brothers, Ross Blakey and Kenneth Blakey.
