Albert Allred, 55, unmarried. died suddenly at his home in Afton Wednesday evening after an illness of several days. Albert has been in failing health for a year or two but was able to get around until the day he passed away. He was out Wednesday and came down town. It is reported he was stricken while out on the street and was assisted home by Willard Lancaster, who immediately notified his folks of his condition. He died a few minutes later.
Albert is the son of the late Nelson and Miranda Allred, and was born in Fairview.
Funeral services will be held in the South Ward chapel at 12:00 Saturday. Albert will be buried in the Fairview cemetery near his parents.

Funeral services were held in the Afton South Ward Chapel Saturday, February 19, 1949, for Albert B. Allred, who died of Quinsy, Wednesday evening, February 16.Processional and Recessional music was played by Warren G Allred, a nephew to the deceased.
The funeral was under the direction of Arch Gardner, bishop.

Albert B. Allred, a twin brother to Gilbert B. Allred was born at Fairview, Wyoming March 10, 1894, where he resided with his parents, Mr and Mrs. Nelson C. Allred, and his other brothers and sisters until 1907 when the family moved to Afton.
The funeral was attended by his brothers, Gilbert and warren of Afton; Edgar, Salt Lake City, Utah and Therial of Cokeville.
His sisters, Hortense Hanson, Shelley Idaho, Donna Burton.McCommon Idaho, and Daisy Tew. Lovell, Wyoming, were unable to attend because of the serious conditions of the highways.
Interment was made in the Fairview Cemetery. The grave was dedicated by Ronald Allred.
