Martinsburg, W. Va. -- Kellie Delmore Rankin, aged 84, of Cherry Run, W. Va., died on Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. at his home. Born in Morgan County he was the son of the late James N. and Phoebe (Householder) Rankin. He was a life-long resident of th county and a retired carpenter.

He was a member of the EUB church.

He is survived by his wife, Ida (Starliper) Rankin; two sons, Forrest M., Berkeley Springs, W.Va., and K. Leroy, Maugansville; four daughters, Mrs. Robert (Arietta) Kesecker, Cherry Run, W. Va., Mrs. Curtis (Almeda) Rockwell, Martinsburg, W. Va., Mrs. Joseph (Frances) Rockwell, Alquippa, PA, and Mrs. Hartzell (Faye) Burns, Newark, Ohio.; two brothers, Silas W. Rankin, Cherry Run, W. Va., and Thomas E. Rankin, Reno, Nev,; two sisters, Mrs. Olive Smith, Hagerstown, and Mrs. Bessie Smith, Akron, Ohio; 12 grandchildren, 33 Great Grandchildren and two Great Great Grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg, W. Va. Rev D. A. Finster officiating with burial in Shriver Cemetery at Chestnut Grove in Morgan County, W. Va.
