GREENWOOD, Ind. - Almeda M. Rockwell, 84, formerly of Martinsburg, W.Va., died Saturday, Feb. 21, 1998, at Greenwood Convalescent Center.
Born June 13, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Kelly and Ida Starliper Rankin.
Her husband, Curtis Rockwell, preceded her in death.
She retired from Perfection Garment Co.
S he was a member of Winchester Avenue Christian Church.
She is survived by one son, Wayne Rockwell of Beech Grove, Ind.; two sisters, Frances Rockwell of Aliquippa, Pa., and Faye Burns of Newark, Ohio; one brother, Forest Rankin of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Rosedale Cemetery in Martinsburg. The Rev. Douglas J. Hollida will officiate.
