Bea passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her children.
Daughter and first of 8 children of Franklin Lestern Morehouse McDonnell and Sara Lovisa Ferrell.
As a teenager she won a a jitterbug contest and was named Jitterbug Queen of Muskegon. In 1943 she married Thomas Lambert Cordle and were married until his passing in 2005. At age 82 she married BenGrantham of Newago. Bea was a kind, caring nd generous person and used her man y talents in art and music to help others. She colored lunch bags with the "Kids Food Basket" project for needy childrren. At age 95 The state of Michigan presented her with an award and commendation signed by the Governor and presented to her in person at her home by 3 of the Governors representatives. That same year she illustrated her first childrens book "I Am Never Too Me". During her lifetime she sewed wedding dresses and made many cakes. She crocheted hats for newborns as well as other items for the hospitals in Muskegon and Grand Rapids. Bea lived a truly Christian life that put others before herself. She is survived by 5 children: Thomas, Ferrell, Marquita, Sandi and Craig. Her infant son Curtie, both husbands and grandson John preceded her in death.
