Wilson Ben Grantham age 89 of Newaygo passed away Aug 27 at Transitional Health in Fremont. He was born July 31, 1926 in Bay City, MI the son of Wilson and Wanda (Thornton) Grantham. During his working years he worked for McInerny Spring and Wire for many years before retiring in 1985. Ben loved people, country music, traveling, Detroit Tigers baseball, but most importantly he loved his family. He attended the Pierson Bible Church for many years. In 2007 he married Beulah McDonnell who survives Also surviving are his children Mark (Kim), Pluma (Dan) Bennett, Doreen (Ken) Dornbos, Toni (Tim) Atwood, Debbie (Lee) Bateman, Polly (Scott) Newland; 18 grandchildren, Thomas, Sommer, Chet, Ryan, Joseph, Joshua, Christi, Anthony, Tiffany, Jessica, Derek, Amber, Jenifer, Tyler, Jill, Codie, and Erin 23 Great Grandchildren, one sister, Patsy Guan; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Connie of 52 years, son Wilson Jr, Grandsons Benny and Little Tim, two brothers Roy and Dean and three sisters Beatrice, Vivian and Mary Ellen.
