Raymond -- Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Brewer Green Mountain Cemetery in Raymond for Jeff Chapman, 77, a retired cattle rancher who died in a Merced hospital Thursday.
The Rev. Harry Ingstrom will officiate.
Born Dec. 26, 1911 in Le Grand, Mr. Chapman lived in Raymond fro 53 years. He was an Army veteran of World War 11, serving from 1942 to 1943.
He is survived by his wife, June Chapman of Raymond; a son, Paul Chapman of Raymond; a daughter, Thelma Livingood of Madera; a brother, Ira Chapman of Le Grand; a sister, Daisy Elliott of Mariposa; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Jay Funeral Chapel in Madera.
