N. B. WHITE DIES OF HIS INJURIES

HOBART, Ind., Dec. 8.--Nevin Robert White, 78, editor and publisher of The Hobart Gazette from 1892 to 1929, died last night in the Methodist hospital at Gary of a fractured skull he sustained here Monday night when struck by an automobile.
White, who has been selling insurance since his retirement from the publishing business and who lived here with his daughter, Mrs. Doris Inscho, was struck at the corner of 9th and Lincoln sts., Monday at 5 p.m. by an auto driven by Milton Schofield, also of Hobart.
He is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Isabelle Sheely, LaCrosse, Ind.; one son, George, of Kent, O.; and a sister, Mrs. Caroline Newton, of Dunkirk, N. Y. His wife died in 1928.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Methodist church here, and burial will be in Crown Hill cemetery. The body is at the Pflughoeft funeral chapel.
