Update note:
" Anna Maria Eck has been accepted by the DAR as the daughter of Joseph Eck and Anna M. Eck. https://services.dar.org/Public/DAR_Research/search_adb/?action=full&p_id=A036258

Proof of her existence is as follows:
Anna Maria Eck was born in Berks Co. on 17 August 1778 to Joseph Eck and Anna M. XX (page 68 The Goshenhoppen Register); in addition to the birth/baptismal record, tax documents prove Joseph did have a daughter in 1778: he has five (5) household members in the 1783 Tax and Exoneration record ; he has five (5) household members in the 1784 Tax Return ; and, he has six (6) females residing in his household in the 1790 US Federal census; on 26 November 1798 Anna Maria Eck married Peter Eckenrode at the house of "Stoffel" Christopher Eckenrode (page 182, The Goshenhoppen Register); she and Peter are found living with Christopher Eckenrode in the 1800 US Federal census wherein we see two (2) females ages 16 through 25 ; census records for Peter Eckenrode demonstrate that in 1810 his household had one (1) Female aged 26 through 44; in 1820 he had one (1) female aged 26 through 44; in 1830 he had one (1) female aged 50 through 59; in 1840 he had one (1) female aged 60 through 69; and, the 1850 US Federal Census shows Peter and Mary Eckenrode living in Allegheny Township, Cambria Co. near their son, Daniel Eckenrode. The ages listed for Peter and Mary in the 1850 are erroneous based on their birth years and ages listed in the previous census.
