Amy Crawford Bledsoe was last child (10th) born to the union of David & Amy Brooks Crawford. Her paternal grandparents were John & Sussie Wherry Crawford. Her maternal grandparents were Henry & Vinnie Brooks. Her siblings were Nettie, Robert, Armond, Elbro, Sally, Albert (L.C.), Colossian, Henry, and Roosevelt Crawford.

She married to John Charlie Bledsoe in 1928. To this union, 12 children were born. Three died at child birth and 9 grew up together. These were, John Eddie, Theodore, Leroy, James, Lawrence, Harold, Garnett, William and Dee Etta Bledsoe.

She remained married until the good Lord saw fit to separate her and John when he died December 5, 1967.

She was the best mother, wife, sister or friend that one could ever hope for. She lived her life for her loved ones.

She departed her sweet life on September 18, 1993. May her soul always rest in peace.

To our mother: We love you, but God loved you best! One day we shall meet again in heaven.
