Mrs. Phillips, 55, Hobart Clubwoman, Buried This Afternoon
HOBART, Ind., March 4.--(Special)--Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Phillips, 55, well known Hobart club woman who died of pneumonia Thursday night, will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock in the First Methodist church here with Revs. W. H. Bleam and C. A. Brown officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill cemetery.
Mrs. Phillips, wife of Albert Phillips, Hobart druggist, was a former president of the Hobart Women's club, former matron of the Eastern Stars, vice president of the Hobart Women's Christian Temperance union, secretary of the Lake County Federation of Women's clubs, chairman of the Federation of Women's club and a member of the Martha Washington book club. She was active also in affairs of the Methodist church.
In addition to her husband, survivors include a daughter, Mrs. John Noak; two sisters, Mrs. Guy Trisman and Mrs. John Turner; and two grandchildren.
Mrs. Phillips resided in Hobart for 25 years. She was born at Palmer, Ind.
