Paul McCarty, 52, died Sunday night in Fort Worth after a short illness. McCarty lived at 107 Ramsey Street in Cleburne and was employed as a concrete worker. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Paul McCarty of Cleburne; two sons, P.C. McCarty of Grand Prairie and Freddie McCarty of Fort Worth; four daughters, Mrs. Leo Bryant of Godley, Mrs. John Collier of Hutchinson, Kansas, Mrs. Bill Seiber of Cleburne and Mrs. George Morgan of Keller; one brother, Ralph McCarty of Acton and a sister, Very McCarty of Dennis; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 pm from the Acton Baptist Church with Rev. Smith officiating. Burial was in Acton Cemetery.
Pallbearers were C.D. Myers, C.T. Sharp, Lloyd Sharp, Milton Kennon, Roy Cartwright, and Walker Williamson.
