Thomas Allen Ruble, son of Jonathan and Ruth Ruble, was born June 10, 1847, and departed this life Feb. 13, 1890, aged 42 years, 8 months and 3 days. He was married to Sarah E. Eubank, October 17, 1869, and to this union were born eleven children, two of whom are dead. He became a member of the United Brethren in Christ at the age of about twenty years, and from that time he is credited with living a christian life. My own observation of him was that he was a very careful man in the use of words and in his conversation about others he manifested great charity. He was a devoted companion and an affectionate father. He gave positive testimony of his preparation for death. Funeral services were held in the M.E. church at Warren, conducted by the writer, and interment took place in the Batson cemetery.
