Died, at the home of his sister, Mrs. G. S. Pulliam, in Glenarm, Monday morning, July 27, 1896, at 10 a.m., Samuel Knotts. Mr. Knotts was born in Ball township, Sept. 16, 1843 [sic]. He became a cripple at the age of four years, and has been since that time an invalid. He leaves to mourn his loss two brothers, W. J. Knotts of Ball township, and Joseph Knotts, of Girard, and two sisters, Mrs. G. S. Pulliam, of Glenarm, and Mrs. Joseph Dragoo, of Mechanicsburg; also three half brothers, E. C. Knotts, of Girard; Albert Knotts, of Chatham, and Henry Knotts, of Jacksonville. The funeral took place from the residence Tuesday. The interment was made in the Brownell cemetery, three miles northwest of town.
