LUCY BURNS SIGLE

Mrs. Sigle, 91, of 722 N. 4th St., Bellwood, died at 5:06 a.m. Monday, March 23, 1987, at her home. She was born Sept. 10, 1895, in Clearfield, the daughter of Stephen and Annie (Davis) Burns, and Nov. 7, 1912, in Tyrone, married Frank H. Sigle, who died Sept. 17, 1966. Surviving are five children: Fay L., Charles K., and Melvin R. of Downingtown, Elwood E. of Tampa, Fla., and Donna K. McCloskey, with whom she resided; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters: Elva Ross, Lola Bricker and Rosanna Cherry of Bellwood. A sister, Robie Ricketts, died March 11, 1987. Mrs. Sigle was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Bellwood, where she was a former class leader, Sunday School teacher, Sunday School superintendent, and choir member.

SIGLE--Services for Lucy Burns Sigle of 722 N. 4th St., Bellwood, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Bellwood, by Rev. George R. Mauk and Rev. Lester C. Schmittle. Interment at Antis Cemetery, Antis Township. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. A sister, Mary DeRemer, preceded her in death.
