C. J. Bamett, aged 80 years, died Wednesday afternoon at 6:30 o'clock at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Bartlett, 1803 East Fourteenth Street Mr. Barnett was born Juno 16, 1844, in Montgomery, and came, to Texas in 1855. He has been a resident of Cedar Creek, Texas, sixty-four years. Surviving relatives are five sons and one daughter, B.
E. E. and O. Y. Barnett of Cedar Creek, J. C. Barnett of Mercer, Texas, Bird Barnett of Louise, Texas, C. K Barnett of Sentinel Butte, N. D and Mrs. A. Bartlett of Austin.
Interment will be held in Cedar Creek Cemetery, Cedar Creek, Texas, this Thursday afternoon.
