Regis James Bodecker served as a Yeoman 1st Class in the United States Navy. He died aboard the U.S.S. Helena (CL-50), a Light Cruiser, during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, on December 7, 1941.

He was originally from San Pedro, California.

NOTE: His first name is misspelled on his headstone as "REGIA." It should read "REGIS."
