Edna Opal Greenwell, 84, died June 9, 1976 in Parkview Hospital, Pueblo. Services will be held at Crist Funeral Home Friday morning at 10:30. Burial will be in the Fowler Cemetery.
Miss Greenwell had made her home with her sister, Eunice M. Nelson, since coming to Fowler 4 1/2 years ago. In February, Miss Greenwell had surgery in Rocky Ford, and since that time, she had made her home with a niece and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Wright of Fowler.
Edna Opal Greenwell was born Dec. 28, 1891 in Osceola, Missouri, to Napoleon and Ellen Greenwell. She was the youngest of seven children. She has one surviving sister, Eunice M. Nelson of Fowler.
M iss Greenwell taught school in Missouri for several years. She was also a booking agent for a chautaqua company. Miss Greenwell has 12 nieces and nephews surviving.
