Her husband preceded her in death October 25, 1922.
At an early age she became a Christian and remained faithful until death.
On December 18, 1939, she suffered a stroke from which she never recovered. She endured her illness patiently, always appreciative of the care so untiringly administered.
She was a loving mother, a good neighbor, always willing and ready to assist those who were ill.
She will be sadly missed by her children, relatives and loved ones. Besides her children she leaves to mourn her death 26 grandchildren 16 greatgrandchildren, one half sister, Mrs. Florence Hunter of Bixby, Okla., and one step-brother, Monroe Garrison of Osceola.
Life! We've been long together;
Through pleasant and through cloudy weather;
Tis hard to part when friends are dear;
Perhaps It will cost a sigh, a tear;
Then steal away, give little warning, choose thine own time.
Say not good night, - But in some brighter clime
Bid me good morning.
