Richard was born in Frazeysburg, Ohio on June 23, 1924, the son of William and Eleanor (Mathern) Biehl. He moved to Michigan with his parents in 1933 at the age of eight. He attended elementary school in Frazeysburg, Ohio and graduated from St. Louis High School. Richard married June Irene Osborn in November 1948. She passed away in 1985. He served his country in the Army during WW II, from 1943 to 1946. Richard worked as a machine operator at Alma Products before retiring after 31 years of service. Richard loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was loved very much and will be greatly missed.
He was survived by his children; Thomas D. and Roechele Biehl of Middleton, MI, Dee Lynne Childers of St. Louis, MI, Rick Lee Biehl of St. Louis, MI, Mike and Jan Biehl of Perrinton, MI, Kevin Biehl of Alma, MI, Steven K. Biehl of St. Louis, MI, 22 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews whom he loved very much.
He was predeceased by his parents, wife, and all his siblings Gladdis (Walt) Cochran, Norman (Wanda) Biehl, Marge (Al) Davis, Geraldine (Herb) Guard, and Eleanor (Don) Coates.
