Services Held Tuesday For Charity Lyons, 98
Mrs. Charity A. Lyons, 98, of Mt. Vernon, died at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 3, in the Lawrence County Nursing Home.
A native of Iowa, Mrs. Lyons lived in Mt. Vernon for 51 years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Survivors are one son, Carl, Mt. Vernon; one daughter, Mrs. Pauline Bloesinger, Dallas, Tex.; three grand-children, several great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Max L. Fossett Chapel, with the Rev. J. K. Wright officiating. Burial was in Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
