Inda W. Armstrong was born April 3, 1918, in Danville, Quebec, daughter of Frank and Hilda Prince Wilson. She moved to New York state in 1924 and graduated from Canton High School in 1935 and Ogdensburg Business School in 1937.
She married Barton T. Armstrong on Aug. 10, 1937, at her parents' home in Flackville. Mr. Armstrong , a dairy farmer, died Feb. 19, 1999.
Mrs. Armstrong worked on the family farm for a time after her marriage and then worked for Werthmore Purina feed store and B&D Plumbing & Heating for several years. She then was employed by Lyle H. Flack school bus sales and service, retiring in 1976.
Mrs. Armstrong enjoyed crocheting, knitting, gardening, feeding birds and caring for her cat. She also enjoyed spending time at her camp on the St. Lawrence River.
