Edna Earle Christian Blakney

TURKEY - Edna Earle Christian Blakney, 82, died Wednesday, March 19, 2003.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Dreamland Cemetery in Turkey. Arrangements are by Myers-Long Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Blakney was born Feb. 5, 1921. She married Virgil E. Blakney on Feb. 14, 1940.

Survivors include a daughter, Anna Landrum of Lubbock; two brothers, Larry Christian of Lubbock and Jackie Christian of Amarillo; and a grandson.

The family suggests memorials be to Lutheran Home of West Texas, 5502 Fourth St., Lubbock, TX 79416; or First Baptist Church Kitchen Fund, Turkey, TX 79261.
