Our loving wife, mother and grandmother, surrounded by her family, peacefuly passed from this life May 19, 2007 from causes incident to age.
Ruby was born August 19, 1917 to Walter E. & Eva Forbush McCleery in Murray, UT, the oldest of six children. Ruby met the love of her life Vearl Barker, during her senior year at Murray High School. Ruby & Vearl loved to dance & danced at almost every hall in the valley. They were married October 8, 1936 in the Salt Lake Temple. Ruby & Vearl were blessed with 5 children who were truly fruits of her labors. Ruby was a faithfaul member of the LDS Church and held numerous callings throughout her life. She worked for the Granite School District lunch program and was a great cook. She was a talented knitter and blessed many lives with this talent. Vearl & Ruby loved to travel and together traversed the country on many trips with the District Symphony & Olynmpus Male Chorus.
Ruby is survived by her husband of 70 years, Vearl; their children; Dixie (Dean) Bergeson, Pleasant Grove UT; Daniel (Randy) of Albion ID; Lynn (Carol) of Seattle WA; Jill (Gary) Telford of of West Point UT; Jacque (Marty) Sodja of Bennion UT; 20 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren, and one great-great granchild. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; sister Delores Litson, brother, Kenneth McCleery, and great-grandson Quinton Jensen.
