Edith Brownlee, age 90, died Sunday, Aug. 10, 2008, in a care facility in San Antonio. She was born on June 8, 1918 in Bandera, to Casper Frank Dugosh and Lenora (Aaron) Dugosh. She was the youngest of four daughters.

Edith was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Arena Hager and Clara Duff.

She graduated from Bandera High School in 1935. She moved to San Antonio after graduation to seek employment. She worked at numerous places, but worked at Kelly Field the longest and retired from Kelly Field.

She is survived by one sister, Dollie Schoenert; one nephew, James D. Duff Jr.; and four

Nieces, Margie Bratton, Bettie Peters, Lo-Rena Scott and Arlene Butts, all from Bandera. Edith is also survived by many cousins and other relatives in and around Bandera.

Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
Visitation with the family was Aug. 12, at Grimes Chapel in Bandera. Funeral services were held on Aug. 13, at the Grimes Chapel in Bandera with Mr. Martin Smith officiating. Interment followed at Bandera Cemetery.
