Leslie Uriah Eaton
Lesile Uriah Eaton, 51 years of age, died yesterday at a local hospital after several months illness. Mr. Eaton was born at Ludington, Wis. and spent his entire life in Eau Claire county. He leaves to mourn his wife and ten children, Mrs. Stella Frederick of Madison, Mrs. Geo. Battaglia, Milwaukee, Walter of Ft. Atkinson, Mrs. Leonard Melville of Chippewa Falls, Oliver, Viola, Maurice, Clarice, Naomi, Gordon, at home: three brothers, George, Albert, Edwin, and one sister, Mary Wilbur. Mr. Eaton resided in Ludington on a farm for many years. From there he moved to Fall Creek and operated a hotel for ten years. The past four years he has lived in Eau Claire. He had suffered poor health for many years.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. from Stokes' undertaking parlors.
