Jazell Gray, 66, of Las Vegas, passed away May 25, 2004. He was born Dec. 3, 1937, in Wewoka, Okla., and was a resident of Las Vegas since 1957. Jazell was a member of the Teamsters Culinary Union and a member of New Hope Baptist Church. He was a custodial supervisor and an U.S. Army Korean War veteran. Jazell is survived by his wife of 46 years, Ezell Gray; daughters, Sharon (Ronnie) Smith, Pamela Gray, Patricia Sailor and Regina (Malcolm) Brothers, all of Las Vegas; son, Ricky (Kimberly) Gray of Las Vegas; sisters, Tressie Banks and Vera Graves, both of Oxnard, Calif.; brothers, Chuck Gray, Larry Gray, Calvin Gray and Wardell Gray, all of Oxnard, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Viewing will be held from 4-7 p.m. Friday, June 4. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 5, all at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Interment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
