Earle R. Ford Jr., 81, of Huntsville died Monday at his residence. A graveside service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with Dr. William Bostick Jr., and the Rev. Coy Hallmark officiating and Laughlin Service Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Ford, a graduate of the University of Alabama and a member of the First United Methodist Church, was retired from Civil Service after 30 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Marion Elizabeth "Beth" Riley of Grayson, Ky.; a sister, Laura Alice Baxter of Huntsville; a brother, Frank Ford of Largo, Fla.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Huntsville.
