Mr. Holland was born Aug. 9, 1917, in Calumet, Mich., the son of Paul and Anna Goulet Holland. He married Grace P. Bell July 29, 1939, in Rock Island.
He was a sales manager for Thoms-Proestler Co., Davenport.
He was a member of a senior citizen group and did volunteer work at the former Franciscan Medical Center, Rock Island.
He was a World War II Navy veteran.
He enjoyed playing bridge, golf, fishing, and did have a hole-in-one shot before he quit playing golf.
Survivors include the widow; daughters, Deborah Baird, Rock Island, Jane Holland, North Liberty, Iowa, and Joan Dunbar, East Moline; sons, Jeffrey Holland and Mark Holland, both of Rock Island, Michael Holland, Moline, and James Holland, East Moline; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Hy Price and Laura Coyle, both of Rock Island, and Marie Stimac, Toledo, Ohio; and brothers, Jerome Holland, Indianapolis Ind., Gerald Holland, Fairbanks, Alaska, and William Holland, Kennington, Md.
