We lived next door to Carl and Mary when I was 5-7 years old. I remember walking up and visiting with them in their yard or them letting me come into their huge living room to just play. They were sort of like grandparents to me during the years we lived in Tontitown, AR.

Erwin Carl Counts, 71, of Rogers died April 12, 1995 at his home. He
was born Nov. 25 1923 at Drake's Creek the son of Johnand Martha Davis Counts.
Survivors include his widow, Wanda Lee Hutchinson Counts of the home; two daughters,
Carolyn Elder of Lowell and Diane Johnson of Rogers; two sisters, Fern Hiblong of
Mabevale (Pulaski County ) and Linda Burt of Louisiana; five brothers, Kenneth Counts
of Lowell the Rev. Loy Counts of Springdale, the Rev. Curtis Counts of Springdale,
the Rev. Bill Counts of Odessa, Tex., The Rev. Bob Counts of Bellflower, Calif. five
grandchildren; and one great-grandchild
Services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 15, at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home
of Springdale with the Rev. Loy Counts officiating. Pallbearers were Mike Johnson,
Denny Elder, David Hiblong, Robert Counts, Loy Counts Jr. and Danny Counts.
Memorials may be made to a favorite charity in the name of Erwin Carl Counts"
