He was a 25-year member of the Harvest Moon Grange in Thorndike. Following his marriage to Arrie Norris, he moved to Pittsfield and Detroit. He returned to his former home in 1918.
Survivors include three sons, Elmer and Norris of Unity and Leslie of Freedom; one daughter, Mrs. Ruby Pease of Detroit; 12 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the home with Winston Clark, pastor of the Unity Union Church, officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in the Quaker Hill Cemetery in South Unity.
