WATER VALLEY, MISS.---Joe Aaron McCammon, 78, retired Coffeeville, Miss. farmer,died at Sunset Rest Home, Water Valley, Miss., Yalobusha County early Tuesday after a long illness.
Grave side services were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Pilgram Rest Cemetery near Coffeeville, Miss., Yalobusha County, with henry Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. McCammon was born in Air Mount Community of Yalobusha County, Miss., and had resided in Yalobusha County, Miss. his entire life.
He was a member of Elam Baptist Church Yalobusha County, Miss.
He leaves a brother, Harvey McCammon of Pine Valley, Miss.; and four sisters, Mrs. Martha Cofer of Newton, Miss., Mrs. Sam Henry Shepherd of Water Valley, Miss., Mrs. Warner Shepherd of Eupora, Miss. and Miss Georgia McCammon of Jackson, Miss.
His wife Lula Brassfield McCammon is buried beside her son at BROOM CEMETERY, Yalobusha County, Miss.
