He was born in Woonsocket, R.I. son of the late John and Amanda (Allard) Martin, and lived here the past 43 years.
Mr. Martin retired in 1952 after 30 years at the Whitin Machine Works, Whitinsville.
He leaves three sons, Albert of Linwood, Alfred and Henry Martin Jr., both of Blackstone; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Visbek and Mrs. Edna Dresser, both of Uxbridge; three brothers William and Oliva both of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Alfred Martin of Woonsocket; three sisters, Mrs. Flora Lamothe and Mrs. Alice Desliet, both of Woonsocket, and Miss Irene Martin of St. Petersburg, 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 8:15 a.m. in Good Shepherd Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
